Lake Devin is a stocked public fishing lake that is open to the public. An NC Fishing License and a Lake Devin Fishing Permit are required to fish there. There are 2.5 miles of easy to moderate trails with overlooks and picnic areas along the trail. A concession and tackle shop is open seasonally (May-Aug). There is a large picnic shelter, an outdoor volleyball net, horseshoe pit, fishing pier and boat ramp available, but use of gas motors is currently prohibited. The picnic shelter can be reserved for a fee. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash and under control at all times. Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of. Dogs cannot be tied up, left unattended or left inside a vehicle at any time. Rabies vaccination must be current and on the collar. Aggressive breed dogs are not allowed.
