Coco and Fern came to us after their mom, a disable Navy Veteran, ran into tough times due to the Covid pandemic. She was figuring things out for herself and her daughter and felt it was in the best interest of these two bonded girls to find a new forever home. They were well-cared for and loved and we are happy to have them with us.
Coco is low energy, super cuddly and 22 lbs and Fern is medium energy and 12 lbs. Together, they are a great balance! They are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and generally healthy.
Coco is blind and Fern is her little seeing eye dog. Fern really seems to feel like she needs to take care of Coco and gets upset when they are separated. They often lay together, but Fern will get up on the couch whereas Coco stays safely on the floor. While they came to us as house trained, they will need just a little time to adjust to a new routine and new set-up. They both love to go on walks and are crate trained. And they are both good with other dogs, cats and children! Pretty perfect dogs!
These two really are the sweetest pair of buddies they look forward to spending forever and ever together.
