Meet Hershey! Hershey is one of Billie’s 5 male puppies. Billie was surrendered to a high kill shelter, pregnant. Billie has the long legs of an Italian greyhound, as well as the body type. Her ears remind us of a Chihuahua. She also has the coloring of a pug mix. Her puppies have tails similar to pugs or basenjis. While her exact breed mix is anyone’s guess, she and her babies are our favorite breed - MUTT!
All of Billie’s puppies are friendly, social and outgoing. They are all in foster homes with other dogs. These boys enjoy spending time with their dog foster siblings but also enjoy spending time cuddling with the humans in their foster homes.
They have begun the crate training and housebreaking process.
All of the puppies have been to the vet and received a clean bill of health. They are up to date on all age appropriate veterinary care. Billie is about 20 pounds and the vet estimates the boys will remain in the 25-35 pound range. At 7 weeks, the boys are in the 5-6 pound range. Please know that this is an estimate and we cannot guarantee their size when they are full grown.
The puppies were born in a foster home on March 28, 2023.
If you are interested in meeting any of the boys, the first step is to complete an application at our website, www.helporphanpuppies.org. Please note that our adoption requirements are noted on our website.
