Finn is looking for his forever home that can give him lots of love, pats, and the amazing life that he deserves. General Behavior: Finn is a very happy, sweet and funny boy. It may take him a minute to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is very affectionate and loves pets and attention. His love languages are touch and words of affirmation. He would do wonderfully with a breed-savvy family who can commit to looking after his gorgeous coat and who can keep this intelligent guy occupied. Likes & Dislikes: Finn loves to have his coat brushed and he loves a good belly rub. He leans into you to give and receive hugs and kisses. He enjoys playing with plush toys. He loves taking walks and does well in the car. He enjoys chasing lizards, although his foster mom doesn't think he's caught one yet. Training: Finn is a smart cookie! He knows how to sit and is working on his recall. He waits patiently by the door to go on a walk or car ride and is good on a leash. He is doing extremely well with house training. He may bark if he sees the mailman outside but will stop if you ask his to. Finn is not reactive to loud noises, such as a vacuum, blender, mower, thunder or even a hurricane. Medical: Finn is very healthy. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and spayed. He only requires monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Other Animals: Finn is good with other dogs. He absolutely adores playing with his foster sister. He would enjoy sharing a home with another friendly dog. His foster mom has not tested his with cats but believes he would be good with them, too. Children: Finn is gentle with children but may need a minute to warm up to them. Home: Finn would do well in a single-family home with a fence to roam and chase lizards and hopefully play with a new brother or sister. Grooming: As a Komondor breed, Finn does not shed but will require daily brushing if he is kept short, which he enjoys very much. He will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. It's suspected that both parents are Aussie but with rescue it's always a guess! (We also have Cyrus, her brother so check out our other listings) Miley is a precious, very soft, little sweet baby ready for a family. She was rescued along with her brother from a scary hoarding situation. She is so soft and cute! Sweet Miley has a very gentle and affectionate personality and loves to play with her foster siblings and toys. Of course, she will need patience as she learns the ropes with potty training, crate training, and all of the normal puppy things. We are proud that she uses potty pads like a champ! The adoption fee is $600 and includes age appropriate vaccines (DAPP with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter *if old enough, flea & heart worm prevention while in our care, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a collar or harness, treats, squeaky toy, a discount on pet insurance and coupons for Petco! *When adopting one of our puppies too young for spay/neuter, the adopter shall complete a spay/neuter contract to have the puppy spay/neutered before 6 months of age at adopters' expense. I'm still very little so just learning about going potty outside but foster mom says I'm a quick study! I also go in my crate like a champ for naps and sleep all night long like a big boy. I'm learning leash walking which right now which I find a little annoying (because why can't I just run wild and play!?!?) but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm fostered in St. Augustine, FL living the good life until I find the perfect forever family who will make sure all of my days ahead are filled with fun, adventure, belly rubs, and snackies!
