Meet Harlo

Hey there, my name is Harlo, and I am a sweet young wolfhoundX that is now on the lookout for my very own family! I would love to have a home that allows me both indoor and outdoor access, I can still learn indoor spaces but am gaining confident each day, I would love to be able to snuggle up on the couch with you of a night and have a nice secure backyard for me to spend the day playing and basking in the sun. I will need to meet all family prior to coming home, I can be a bit shy of new people but with some time and patience I warm up and love to play with you. Older children would be better so they can give me some time to settle in and adjust prior to asking too much of me, plus I am a larger boy who doesn't understand the power of my tail at times. I have meet some dogs here at the shelter and I am currently too overwhelmed to meet them appropriately, due to this I will need to be the only dog in the home. Working on my sociability is something we can do once I decompress form shelter life, we will just have to do it slowly and with known social dogs. Due to my breed, I find smaller animals very interesting and want to chase them, I will need to go to a home without smaller animals such as cats. chickens and rabbits.
