Meet Luna

Hi there! I'm Luna, a 4 year old Terrier cross with a heart full of love and a bit of nervous energy. Here’s a little bit about me and what I’m looking for in my forever home. I’m a sweet and loving girl who really enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who are around my size. I came into the shelter with some doggy buddies and I lived with 3 other dogs in my foster home. I really thrive when I have a furry friend around, so having another small dog in the home would be wonderful for me! I can be a bit of a nervous Nellie, especially when settling into new places. When I first arrived at the shelter and even now in my foster home, I’ve shown some anxious behaviors like barking as I try to adjust. Because of this, I’ll need an experienced owner who can help me feel safe and build up my confidence. I might need a bit of time to get used to being alone, and it’s important that my new family can create a calm, secure environment for me. I haven’t met any children in my foster home, so I’d prefer to meet the whole family to make sure I'm comfortable around them first. It's best if everyone in the family meets me before we make things official so we can be sure we’re a perfect match. Overall, I’m a sweet and affectionate girl who just needs a bit of patience and understanding.
